About PTA Pages

In early 2008 we were sitting at a school event with a number of other parents when it became apparent that one of our group worked for someone I went to school with who owned a carpet outlet; after a short discussion about my friend, it transpired that the guy with whom I was speaking was a carpet fitter.

We had just had a carpet fitted at great cost and my wife said, "isn't it a shame that we didn't know that you are a carpet fitter last week, we could have given you the business!" To which he replied "yes and I could have done you a deal". A lightbulb went on immediately and after a late night discussion, we decided to develop a way of conveying this information."

From this flash of inspiration grew the concept of PTA Pages. Our intention is to grow a network of parents and teachers which can, not only, raise money for their school's PTA, but can also help members save money on products and services offered by other parents at their school, in their community and across other schools in the Local Education Authority. The benefits are obvious and seriously money saving.

The PTA Pages network is new and of course, it will take time to build into the incredible resource it will inevitably become.

We have created a 'classifieds' service enabling you to advertise your second hand goods across your LEA free of charge. The best news is that all of this is FREE!

We need all of you business owners out there to support us by joining as an 'Advertiser' reaching thousands of 'pre-qualified' customers searching for your products or services. The fees are minimal but the exposure is massive and you will be supporting your school's PTA.
